The Production Cycle
From start to finish the Production Area is fully Automated and incorporates purpose built state of the art machinery that efficiently rinses, fills, caps and labels bottles at very high speeds. These bottles are wrapped in shrink to fit packaging and palletised ready for distribution. Below are some of the key components of this Production Area.
|
De Palletiser
The De-Palletiser is the first step in the production cycle. Full pallets of empty bottles are emptied row by row onto the first stage of the conveyer belt as quickly as they are required.
|
Rinser / Filler / Capper
This is the main part of the production cycle. Empty bottles are passed through one of our most sophisticated machines where they are first rinsed out with purified water, then individually filled with freshly produced concentrate directly from our mixing room. Next they are hermetically sealed with PET closures and sent onto the next stage of production. Bottles can be rinsed, filled and capped at a rate of 9,000 bottles per hour.
|
Labeller
The labels are attached to the bottles using a hot glue and wraparound labels. This machine is capable of accomodating a variety of label types and sizes depending on customer requirements.
|
Shrinkwrapper
Here the finished bottles are seperated into their specified case configuration (2L x 6, 1L x 12 Etc.) They are then wrapped loosely in PET plastic sheets that are heated for a short period and then rapidly cooled, which tightly wraps each case. From here, the cases are palletised, identified and forwarded for dispatch.
